ABOUT VMAN AERO SERVICES

Vman Aero is a Mumbai based aviation consultancy company providing services across all segments of commercial civil aviation including aircraft leasing and financing, asset and technical management, audits, start-ups and aftermarket back-office support.

In April 2021, the company received permission to launch the first aircraft leasing company in India. The service will be based out of GIFT (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) in the city of Ahmedabad, a region fast emerging as a hub for aircraft leasing and financing activities in the country.

The approval, to be conferred upon three other leasing companies, is integral to India’s ambitious plans to develop a domestic aircraft leasing hub and to bring back a significant proportion of the liquidity associated with the most profitable part of the aviation value chain – one currently dominated by foreign financiers and international leasing companies from Ireland and Hong Kong.

More recently, in August 2021, Vman completed its first aviation leasing transaction as an Indian aircraft lessor by leasing an Airbus H125 Helicopter to the Indian ‘Heli Taxi’ operator, Thumby Aviation.
